Sand Yachting on Anglesey

If your hobbey is Sand Yachting or Land Sailing as it also known, then we have a couple of great long, flat beaches for you to play! The best two are Cymyran beach near Rhosneigr, a long fairly flat beach on the west of the Island and the other is Red Wharf Bay on the south east side of Anglesey, this is the larger of the two.

Other beaches that could be used are Newborough beach, on the south west of the Island, this is a very long beach, with stunning views of the Snowdonia mountains and Llanddwyn Island, access is not quite a good as the others, but dooable with a push and then Traeth Llydan, also known as broad beach due to its width, very close to Rhosneigr, again very flat.
