Walking on Anglesey
If you love walking, then Anglesey has some of the most beautiful walks in the whole of Great Britain.
Not only do we have our rural walks but we have the Anglesey Coastal Path which covers nearly 125 miles, mostly around the coast of Anglesey.
The other bonus whilst on many sections of this walk, is that you can see the amazing views of Snowdonia, and across Anglesey weather permitting of course!
Walking the Anglesey Coastal Path
The good thing about the Anglesey Coastal Path is that it’s made up of 12 different sections, so if your only on Anglesey for a short period of time, you can choose a particular section and leave the others another day.
There is a fantastic guide book to walking the sections of the Anglesey Coastal Path by Carl Rogers here. He also has another book Top 10 Walks: Circular walks along the Wales Coast Path here
Anglesey Circular Walks
As well as the Anglesey Coastal Path, Anglesey now has 10 circular walks, which cover many parts of Anglesey.
They range from around the stunning Llyn Maelog lake at Rhosneigr to a circular walk from the Breakwater Country Park round to North Stack, then the iconic South Stack, down to Porth Dafarch and back round to the Country park
