Moelfre Lifeboat
The beautiful coastal village of Moelfre has had a lifeboat for over 166 years now. The first lifeboat arrived in 1854 built at the joint expense of the RNLI and local associations.
As pretty as the local coast is, the Moelfre lifeboat station has one of the largest lifeboats in the RNLI fleet, due to the ruggedness of this rocky coast, weather and shipwrecks the sea has already claimed.
