Porth Nobla beach near Rhosneigr
Porth Nobla beach is a beautiful oval shaped bay relatively small in size and is also one of the five beautiful beaches around the area of Rhosneigr. It is possible to walk amongst the dunes and marram grass parallel to Porth Nobla beach.
Porth Nobla is situated on the A4080 road on the way to the coastal village of Rhosneigr. Like its sister beach on the other side of the headland Cable bay, it is also one of those remote beaches ideal for a family picnic. This beach seamlessly merges into Traeth Llydan.

The beautiful beach at Porth Nobla is situated between the two villages of Aberffraw and Rhosneigr, the headland to the south of the beach is the home of the ancient burial chamber Barclodiad y Gawres.

Barclodiad y Gawres is a neolithic burial chamber situated between the coastal villages of Rhosneigr and Aberffraw on a headland sandwiched between the beautiful sandy beaches Porth Trecastell and Porth Nobla.
This is the largest burial chamber on Anglesey, and one of the most important in Europe due to its carving found on six stones situated withing the burial chamber.
Barclodiad y Gawres is situated on the Anglesey Coastal path which is a path that circumnavigates the coastal area around Anglesey. This path is about 125 miles in total and commands views some of the most spectacular coastline in the United Kingdom.
