Anglesey Railway Branch Lines

Originally the Isle of Anglesey had a main line to Holyhead and two branch lines, one branch line to Amlwch and the other branched off to Red Wharf Bay.

A small distance of line branched off from just after the Gaerwen station to the Holland Arms Station, the two more lines branched off again, the Amlwch line heading in a Northerly direction and the Red Wharf and Benllech branch line heading off in a North Easterly direction. The first planned branch line was from Menai Bridge to Beaumaris but was soon dropped.
